BROADCAST: WELCOMING CHRISTIAN CARLISLE

We’re excited to announce that BBC Introducing Sheffield presenter Christian Carlisle will be joining the WSL team of promoters, as of September 2015. Once a week Christian will be hosting BROADCAST at West Street Live, showcasing some of the best bands in our region and some of his personal favourites from further a field.

Christian, who also runs The Pit in Doncaster, said “It’s an honour to join the WSL team. The venue is known for showcasing up and coming talent from around Sheffield and South Yorkshire.

“It’s going to be a great way of seeing first hand the bands that everyone is raving about, and it’s a great opportunity for gig goers to catch artists that might be even playing Glastonbury or Leeds festival in the next two years.”

The first BROADCAST event takes place on the 7th September, featuring The Waletones, Kiziah and The Kings, Darren Eastell and The Homesteads.

Christian mainly sources his own acts for the weekly event, however if you’re interested in playing a BROADCAST show, or an event for another promoter at WSL please use the gig booking form to express your interest.
